How fine a nib do you use? and what types of paper do you tend to go for?

I used a 01 edding 1800 profipen for the skull; really really nice pens. The paper is A3 Daler Rowney Heavyweight 200g/m, also very nice for drawing on.

I love the subtle noise around the page as well.
I need to play around with paper weights and qualities again, it's something I've sort of turned my back on recently.
